Still Making Progress

Weight:  227  Hips: 48  Waist:  36
Weight lost:  12  Inches Lost: 5

So its the end of my second month in this weight loss adventure and I've lost 12 lbs, 227 is my new number. Looking at my picture I can definitely tell the difference!!! Especially looking at all 3 pictures I can see a progression!! :)  I didn't lose as much as I had hoped, I did kick the workout up a noch, but when I studied this week I tended to get the munchies and well munched!! I have a bout a month left til my anniversary, 4 weeks, ~2 lbs a week is only 219...so I have to make a couple of changes and I should be able hit my 215 lb mark. 
My measurements are....36 lbs on the wasit, 48 on the hips that is a 3.5 inch difference in 4 weeks, which isn't as good as I hoped but it's progress. The exciting thing is that I can tighten my belt a notch!! So it's definite progress!!

10 lbs Down and Still Counting

I meant to post this weekend after my weigh-in but with two tests this week my focus is elsewhere. My weigh-in this past Saturday resulted in 229.2!!!  That 10 lbs down!! It's not quite where I wanted to be but with 2 weeks of not working out hard it's my own fault. But with the stress of 2 tests this week I'm finding working out kinda releases the good endorphins making me feel not as stressed!! So I'm hoping for a 3 lb weight loss this week. I also am doing my measurements and I'm excited to see the progress, since it's been a whole month. Plus a picture....so we will see!! I'm excited because some of my shirts are looser around the belly.

Late Update

This will be short and sweet.
So my weigh in this past Saturday came out as 231.2, only 4/10's of a lb lost. I did not make my goal of 229 by my 29th birthday. :(  But in my defense I was sick last week so working out was kind of hard. I didn't do my measurements, so I will wait til the following week so i can keep it on schedule. I feel a difference in inches which helps when I'm not seeing the weight lost. I'm still aiming for the 215 by March 27th, I know I have to kick it up a notch in order to do so. I can do this!!

Week 5 Update

This will be a short post, but I have to update my weight loss!! And my family!
So I'm at an almost 2 lb weight loss for the week! 1.8 lbs!! So I'm at 232.8!! Which means if I lose 2 lbs this week I will meet my goal for under 230 goal for my birthday next week!!
Dan lost almost 5 lbs this week, he was sick all week so he didn't have any beer and didn't eat as much. Unfortunately we warned him cuz he was sick that it might come back on. Told him I want to be sick so I can lose weight!! LOL! ;p
Mom lost a pound, which is what she wanted.
Dad reached a 10 lb weight loss last week so he rewarded himself with a soda, and unfortunately he had a 3 lb weight gain. :(  Told him it was a slight set back but he will get it back off plus some!!
We are working it, my family and I and I'm soooooooooooooo happy!!

Goals

So I hadn't really set any goals for myself, because I wasn't sure how hard I was going to hit this weight loss thing. I always want to lose weight and I seem to go for like a week or two and then lose steam, so I'm going into my 5th week and still going...not as strong on some days but still going! ;P
I have finally set some goals!!
My first goal is to be 229 or less by my 29th birthday in less than two weeks. That is about 4 lbs so it's very doable!!
My next goal is to be in the 210-215 range for my 1 year Wedding Anniversary at the end of March. Last year on my wedding day I was at 214, so if I'm less I would love it!!
My inches goal is to make Army taping standard by May drill, because by that time I will be off my post-partum profile and will have to weigh/tape/and do my PT test.
My final goal is to be in the 180-190 range by June.
My ultimate goal is to stay in the 180-170 range, it may not be what the Army wants (164 is my allowed weight) but I know that it is a healthy weight for me and I can still make taping standards. So I'm looking forward to attaining this goals.
I haven't come up with rewards for my goals, but I figure I get dessert once a week and that's enough!!
